About Us

 

The Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ) is a Haryana Government Registered Trust working for the safety and development of journalist across India. Basically, the journalist is known as the fourth most important pillar of democracy.

But it is unfortunate that the safety of our journalist, who have always been aware of the society through years of journalism, is still in question. So far, journalist have not received any facilities, nor have there been strict laws and regulations regarding security.

That is why the number of attacks on journalist is increasing day by day. But if this is not curbed in time, it is not possible to say when the fourth pillar of democracy will be overthrown. Recognizing the seriousness of the situation, the Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ) has now taken the initiative.

 

The Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ) was established in 2014. Just 10 Year after that, has established its dominance all over India.

At present, he is the President of the country's largest journalist friendly organization Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ) The popularity of this organization is so tremendous that it is working with a network of 80000 Above journalist colleagues in more than 450 districts Above in about 22 states of the country.

 

So far, more than and in the next 2 years, more than 2 lakh journalist from all over India will participate in the Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ), and Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ) is responsible for the safety and development of each participating journalist. said Mr. Vikram Sen, National President of (AIJ).

 

Anyone referred to as a journalist can join the Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ). Provision has also been made for that in the “Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ)”.

News channels from all over India as well as freelance journalists, print media, TV media, electronic media, internet news, all types of social media, mass media, YouTube news channels, web portals, blogging news portals, News portals, All India Radio, etc. can join the Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ).

Journalism can never be silent: that is its greatest virtue and its greatest fault. It must speak, and speak immediately, while the echoes of wonder, the claims of triumph and the signs of horror are still in the air.

Our Mission

Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ) is dedicated to protect, respect, livelihood opportunities, health and mutual harmony to every section of the society while maintaining the dignity of human rights. The first and last mission of AIJ is the protection of human values. The underprivileged should get rights under the mission. The goal is to strengthen the moral values along with the environment, natural resources and useful components of life. By strengthening the national unity in the society and the nation, the participation of every person in the nation should also be ensured.

 

Our Vision

With the development of civilization, there is an expectation of self-reliance and mutual respect, cooperation, harmony, love and coordination between human society. Human dignity has been hurt due to the deviant direction of social development. Human values have been damaged. It is the vision of AIJ that the nation is free from all narrow mindedness and distinctions and can live in a safe and dignified environment in a dignified environment. Our Activity

  • To work for ensuring that basic human rights are respected everywhere.
  • To co-operate to avoid compromising on human rights for economic or political expediency.
  • To recognize democratic institutions as a fundamental human right.
  • To work towards the sovereignty and self determination of entities with historical, cultural and ecological identity.
  • To restrict cooperation with governing regimes that violate human rights.
  • To actively engage with the government of India and other countries to promote human rights education.
  • To bring diplomatic and commercial pressures on regimes that violate human rights, to ensure that they respect the basic rights of their citizens.
  • To keep the interests of disempowered communities foremost in all dealings with countries in which human rights violations occur.
  • To support the end of colonization and press for resolution of colonial conflicts through the U.N. frame work.
  • To develop a more distinctive and effective role for the international court of justice in the field of human rights.
  • To support through the U.N. framework, democratic and economic reforms in countries coming out of totalitarian control.
  • To promote a culture for educating the citizenry that cultivation and promotion of human rights culture is the sine gua non for the smooth functioning of the organs of a democratic state and for the kind of development that results into overall development of the society.
  • To train the young men and women for facing the challenges of the pluralistic society and the rising conflicts and tensions in the name of particularistic loyalties to caste, religion and culture.
  • To study the effects of draconian laws and unlawful use of state's machinery and force by the enforcement agencies.
  • To prepare case studies on the rising custodial deaths, killings, encounters and related issues for ensuring that human rights education must address the need of evolving new structures of knowledge and accountability to impart new skills and sensitivities amongst holder’s of state power so as to make them more responsive to the culture of human rights and values of democracy.
  • To help stop legal social and economic discrimination against women and their exploitation in defferent ways.
  • To promote human rights education as a catalyst in bringing out attitudinal and social change among the management of fire works, glass, stone crushing and related industries for reducing the prevalence of child labour in these and other hazardous industries to zero.
  • To create an environment as well as an understanding that human rights can easily become vulnerable to abuse of various structures and processes of power.
  • To ensure comprehensiveness and incorporation of national, regional and international perspectives related to human rights.
  • To study the philosophical and cultural basis and historical perspective on human rights.
  • To examine the inter-dependence of and linkages between human rights and democracy, pluralism, development, ecological balance, peace and harmony at the national and international levels.
  • To study the historical context, colonialism and post colonialism, post Independence national development , protection regime especially for the weak and marginalised groups including minorities and for women and children.
  • To study and prepare reports on the violation of human rights by the state and its agencies – the police and criminal Justice system inconsistence wih human rights norms.
  • To suggest action for violation of rights by armed political groups and terrorists.
  • To work against intra – social violation of rights of the poor and weak by the dominant groups.
  • To effectively work for reducing gender inequalities, exploitations and injustices.
  • To provide legal aid and advice for the indigent and weaker sections of the society.
  • To work in close co-operation with national human rights commission and other statutory commission on women, minorities, SC and ST and linguistic minorities, NGOs and media organizations for promoting human rights education.
  • To study the texts, treaties, arrangements and structures innovated by the international community in the post world war period for the protection of human rights, effect of world war on the status and functioning of various and institutions and structures organized for promotion and protection of human rights.
  • To prmote the role of developing socities vis-a-as human rights.
  • To study the causes of success and failure of institntion like UN and its specialised bodies like UNHCR, UNHCHR, UNESCO, WHO, ILO vis–a-vis human rights.
  • To collect data related to the existing educational and training facilities in the areas of human rights and civil liberties in different parts of the world in general and the developing countries in particular for designing a need based Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral programmes in human rights and civil liberties.
  • To aid in organiging conferences, seminars, meetings, discussions, debates, study courses, collection of statistics, exhibitions, shows, tour trips etc.
  • To publish books, encyclopaedias, monographs, journals and directories on human rights.

 

 

 

 

 

OBJECTIVES OF THE ORGANIZATION

 

Objectives of The Organization

  • Inclusion of news channels at various levels across India. Freelance journalists, print media, TV media, electronic media, internet news, all types of social media, mass media, YouTube news channels, web portals, blogging news portals, WordPress News Portal, All India Radio, E. will be certified by the (AIJ).
  • To operate any YouTube news channel, Hindi and English news channel, through Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ) and to authorize the concerned news channels.
  • News channels of all kinds of languages like YouTube, social media, web portals, blogging news portals, WordPress news portals, TV news channels, All India Radio, etc. Initiated by the Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ)
  • Provision to start daily newspaper, weekly newspaper, fortnightly newspaper, monthly newspaper in all types of languages through Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ)
  • AIJ have planned to start journalist training camp as well as journalist training course across all over India.
  • Initiation of different wings to organize journalist at all levels.
  • Interested Candidates / Applicants of all ages, Professionals, Artists, Librarians, Photographers, Calligraphers, Index Assistants and also referred to as ‘Journalists’, working in Newspapers, Registered Newspapers or Periodicals, YouTube Marathi & Hindi News Channel, as well as other news channels started through Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ)
  • To produce all language films and disseminate them on YouTube, Internet and other social media to spread awareness on various issues in India.
  • To curb anti-social evil tendencies by directly or indirectly cooperating with the police administration.
  • AIJ have planned to start the newspaper library acroos every states in India.
  • AIJ have planned the projects for the development of journalist at all levels.
  • Raise voice against injustice done to journalist at all levels.
  • Raise voice against anti-social evil tendencies, against corruption.
  • Organizing annual get-togethers.
  • Rewarding people at all levels.
  • To bring to the notice of the public through various schemes, initiatives provided by the government at all levels.

A few words about the brother of all of us and our loving leader, Vikram Sen, who gave the Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ) a nation-wide form through his personal sacrifice.

 

Vikram Sen is a senior journalist, famous social worker, eminent social worker, successful politician, eminent business man, ideal leader, eminent leader who takes everyone along.

 

 The Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ) was established in 2014. Just 7 Year after that, has established its dominance all over India.

At present, he is the President of the country's largest journalist friendly organization Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ).  The popularity of this organization is so tremendous that it is working with a network of 80000 Above journalist colleagues in more than 450 Above districts in about 22 states of the country.

Membership of this organization is completely free.  From the resources of this organization's network spread across the country, every effort is made to diagnose the problem being faced by any journalist or their family members within minutes, the results of which are mostly pleasant and positive.  Along with this, for the health and education of journalist colleagues and their families, the organization has tied up with many hospitals, universities, coaching institutes, schools etc.  From where they get relief on a large scale.  Also, legal aid is available free of cost from the legal cell of the organization.  Due to the functioning of the youth cell and women cell of the same organization, they also get the responsibility of helping and uniting the journalist world according to their talent.  This national family of journalist colleagues, working with their best combination and sincerity, has also organized hundreds of grand events under the leadership of President Vikram Sen.

 Vikram Sen, a graduate level education, is currently the special correspondent of the well-known newspaper 'Nav Bharat' Madhya Pradesh, is a preferred journalist from the Madhya Pradesh government for the last 10 years.  In addition, he is the editor, joint editor, assistant editor of many newspapers, web news and YouTube news channel portal.  In the past 31 years of journalist life, he has played journalist responsibilities for various media organizations including Dainik Jagran, Agniban, Lok Swami, India News, Sadhna News Channel.  In his journalism life, he did journalism with courage, as a result of which he has done many special stories.

 

 Vikram Sen has done remarkable work for about 6 years in the Bachpan Bachao Andolan under the South Asian Anti-Slavery Campaign under the guidance of Nobel Laureate Shri Kailash Ji Satyarthi.

 

 Vikram Sen has worked successfully in the interest of various types of social, political, regional, national objectives as the leader of several dozen social organizations in his life.  In this, for the smooth construction of Sardar Sarovar project, to work successfully as the National President of Dam Banao Andolan.

 

 Mr. Sen has been fond of sports since childhood, he has organized fifty tournaments of sports like cricket, table tennis, wrestling riots, karate, taekwondo etc. He himself also did wrestling in Devi Ahilya University during his Graduation have been champions.

 

 Due to immense popularity, honesty, goodwill, and tremendous rapport in his city Alirajpur, he was elected as the Vice President with a huge majority by contesting the elections at the independent level.

 

Presently, with the excellent working style of Mr. Sen, AIJ with its vast network is fulfilling its obligations day by day for the benefit of the journalist world.

SOCIAL MEDIA CELL

 

Citizen participation in the Association of Indian Journalist (AIJ) is the foundation of an ideal democracy. Today there is an opportunity to go beyond the traditional form of citizen participation, such as voting and participating in polls. Digital Social Media – The growing and increasing prevalence of Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, WhatsApp, etc. has removed many technical barriers to wider and permanent citizen participation in the co-production and co-distribution of public services.

The ultimate goal of (AIJ) is to ensure that all social media platforms send the right message, contribute to a better society co-creation through citizen participation, and ensure integration through transparent and responsive governance. The main purpose of using social media is to increase the reach of drive citizens as well. In addition, it will enable (AIJ) to change public perception, improve service and customer experience, and acquire citizen trust through transparency.

Strategic Objectives Communication:

  • Use of social media channels as a major platform for communication with citizens
  • Each section of the (AIJ) will use social media channels selected for the purpose of communication and development of citizens and for the purpose of development & security of Journalist
  • Receipt and monitoring of citizens, complaints / grievances of journalists through social media

  • Provide a social media platform for citizens and journalists to contribute their thoughts and ideas
  • Arranging social media activities for citizens and journalists to actively participate in voting / decision making / ideology / feedback
  • Create Social Media Knowledge Repository

  • Promote social media as one stop solutions for information on all (AIJ) services
  • Promoting social media as a collaborative forum for citizen and journalist participation activities
  • Enhancing the overall image of (AIJ) as a brand
  • To maximize the impact of social media, (AIJ)’s IT An independent social media team has been formed in the department

The team comprises of following professionals:

  • Content Writer

The team is supervised by the head of the (AIJ) department, IT, who directly assists Hon. National President, Shri. Vikram Sen.

Guidelines

Guidelines have been developed to ensure a neutral approach to social media.

  • Authority: Do not comment or reply unless authorized to do so, especially in cases involving sub-justice, draft law or other persons.
  • Relevance: Comment on issues related to (AIJ), provide relevant feedback and comments to make the dialogue productive and useful to the citizens & journalist.
  • Professionalism:Be humble, be independent and respect everyone. Avoid making personal comments for or against any person or agency. Nor should the politics of business discussion be politicized
  • Openness:Be open to both positive and negative feedback. Not every comment has to be answered
  • Compliance:Follow the relevant rules and regulations. Avoid copyright infringement
  • Privacy:Do not disclose personal information about other persons and do not publish (AIJ) details until the information is made public so that citizens can use it. Shared content must be informative and useful to citizens Shared content should bring awareness to the citizens about various initiatives of (AIJ). It should also be efficient No content may be posted that indicates political or religious affiliation
